FAQ
Cobalt target material. Cobalt is a shiny silver-gray metal with a melting point of 1493°C and a specific gravity of 8.9. It is relatively hard and brittle. Cobalt is ferromagnetic. It is comparable in hardness, tensile strength, machining performance, thermodynamic properties, and electrochemical behavior. Iron is similar to nickel, and its magnetism disappears when heated to 1150°C.
Cobalt with a purity of 99.9-99.99% has been widely used in the manufacture of magnetic materials and super alloys, and cobalt with a purity of 99.999% or higher is used as a target for advanced electronic components. The high-purity cobalt targets manufactured by Xinkang are mainly used in high-tech fields such as magnetic recording materials, magnetic sensor materials, and optoelectronic materials. The following figure is a microscopic metallographic inspection picture of a cobalt sputtering target, with an average particle size <100μm.
As long as you provide detailed target information, such as purity, size, tolerance requirements, and other technical requirements, we will provide you with a quotation as soon as possible and provide the fastest delivery time.
We produce high-purity cobalt sputtering targets. Its biggest advantage is that it has high permeability. The advantage of this is that during the physical vapor deposition process, the target can be arced smoothly and started to use. The following table is a certificate of composition analysis of a typical 3N5 cobalt sputtering target. Analysis methods used: 1. Use ICP-OES to analyze metal elements; 2. Use LECO to analyze gas elements.
