Eugenol Methyl Ether is colorless to slightly yellow liquid with a sweet clove-fennel aroma, similar to carnation. The aroma is rich and long-lasting like tea. It is widely used in fragrances and flavors.

Eugenol Methyl Ether Usage

1. It can be used as an enhancer of clove aroma.
2. It can produce a mild background in floral, herbal or oriental fragrances.
3. A small amount of  Methyl Eugenol is used in rose, carnation, ylang-ylang, lilac, gardenia, hyacinth, white orchid, acacia, tuberose, fragrant perilla, lavender, laurel rum, men's cologne and other fragrances.
4. Used in edible flavors mainly as a spice modifier to provide ginger-like flavor
